Self Eclipse
So I just watched this weeks episode of Heroes – The Eclipse, pt II.
I have to say that I am somewhat disappointed. The characters are going nowhere. They are merely repeating over and over again what has already been done. “Save the cheerleader, save the world.” There is only so many times that a plotline or tagline can work. And this is one that has been WAYYYY over-used. Heroes saw a great period of time with fabulous writing in the first season, when the writers didn’t take it seriously. When the writers started taking it seriously, it went downhill. It went further downhill when the writers strike happened. At the beginning of the third season we saw an uprise. However, since the last time they looked to the future (when Matt saw himself with Daphne, etc), the writing has been falling apart. Not to mention that some of the acting is getting poorer in quality.
Maybe I would like it better if it weren’t all pixelated when I watch it.

Heroes is in a deep rut as of now… I really do hope it comes back to it’s Glory Days. Now that Pushing Daisy has deceased Bryan Fuller is coming back to work on heroes! This maybe a sign of great things.
One can only hope, loyalkng. One can only hope.
